Laptop trouble

Hello,
I have a problem with my laptop, when I turn it on it comes up with start windows safe mode or start windows normally so I do one, it starts to load up and then the screen goes blank but the mouse is still there.
Can anyone help please......

Dear Sir,

I will advise you to select the safe mode!

Then try doing a system restore:

Press start, in search bar type: rstrui.exe

Choose a date when your pc was working normally

Then Press Next...

Let the process be done

Your laptop will restart normally after

Thank you for replying, I do the safe mode on the computer but I can't press start because after I have done the safe mode the computer goes blank and all I can see is the mouse? Do you know what I should do????
