DVD CD disc load problems

Hello, I own a ever ex stepnote N and it all the sudden stopped loading cds and dvds. I tried cleaning the lens that doesnt seem to work and another thing is that it doesnt even show when i open my computer. It used to say D: i think now it doesn't. How do i fix this? Do i have to buy a new computer? Please Email me at halosamr@aol.com

Hello,

You will have to change the drive, not buy another computer,

You DVD drive is damaged,

it won't cost more than 50 dollars
