Accessing somebody else desktop
Closed
Hi,
I’m sorry I might sound little silly… I've heard of something that you and your buddy go to and both of you do something to pick which desktop you want to see. For example I want to do stuff on my friend's computer because he can't figure something out, so me and him do something where I can link to his desktop and do stuff on his computer, I know this sounds confusing but if any of you understand what I’m talking about and know of how to do that please tell.
Thank you so much.

There are several softwares doing that but I would suggest Log Me In or VNC (Virtual Network Computing).
Basically these programs allows you to remotely access a computer using the internet browser. And it is free to use.
Have fun!

those two are good I agree, I wouldn't use logmein for professional use so...
VNC is the real one in this area but if you are both using windowsXP or later have a look at their remote desktop function, it usualy go through windows firewall easier and windows always send you updates to restart your firewall those ******
