I cant instl winxp at my compaq cq40-144tu

myself hrishikesh, i m getting a problame during installation winxp at my compaqcq40-144tu.
When i tried to install winxp at laptop after some time an errore reports displayed on a blue
screen n after that i cant proceed ihe next steps of installaiton.When i asked some of my friends about dis problem they said me dat in dis type of laptop one sata driver need 2 install winxp.. so plz if anybody can
give me dat driver send me 2 my email id or give me the link 4 d driver.........Thanks

Hye,

You should know that if you want to Downgrade to XP from Vista, the SATA Mode on your BIOS settings must be changed,

Change it to ATA or IDE,

Then Run the Windows XP installation again
