I cant get msn properly

Hello,
i really need some help because i got my on laptop (an aspire one) so my parents wouldnt be nagging at me to get off msn and i chose it cause it had a webcam but when im on it i click on the icon with the webcam on it and it wont let me do any of the things also it wont let me do nuge and all the other cool things plzplzplzplz HELP ME!!!!!!!!
