2GB trancend pen drive is not formating

Hello,
My 2GB trancend pen drive is not formatin. i tried many options but cudn't abl to find a solution. Format option only not getting fired. but when i try in dos command it says "insert a disc into the drive". Some one please help me..

HP format tool is also not working in my case... any other way to format...
