my name is jack
i could really use someones help
i just bought a dell inspiron 1720 laptop comp. off of my friend
and i want to restore it to just like it was when it came out of the box...
they dont have the disks that came with it and i heard that there is a way to manually do it..
someone please help me i sont ave the money to go out and buy a new dick to do this simple opperation

hello Sir,

You will need the recovery disc to do this,

Else this won't be possible, or you will have to format the laptop and install a fresh windows vista again

Go to start menu, then Accesories, then System Restore

Select the Option "Restore to Factory Settings". It will wipe of MS Office or any other software.
