Alright this is similar to the "cant get past welcome screen thing" but a little different, when i get to the welcome screen i click my profile ( doesnt work as administrator either ) it has that little spinning circle thing next to the word welcome and then the screen messes up and it get all fuzzy and distorted and all i can do is shut it off, i tried using system restore and it works until the end of the day. it automatically logs off when im not there for a while, like when im sleeping. All that works is safe mode (which is what im on now) and i cant seem to figure out the problem :(
this is on vista btw on hp pavillion 9000

i also think it has to do with the nvlddmkm driver. because it said that it had stopped responding and recovered before (when it worked) thats where the problem started.
