Lost recovery discs

Hello,i lost my recovery discs now my Hp compaq 6720s laptop was attacked by a virus so i had to format but i don't have the drivers and all the operating systems m trying to install except for ubuntu are failing to recognize the hard drive because previously a third party software(which i don't know what exactly it is )had been used to partition the hard drive.so what can i do?please help!!!!
