No sound dell inspiron 1501

Hello, my 1501 dont play sound and says install sound device after system has been cleaned from virus and xp put back on. Everything else works great please help

Dear Sir,

Your problem should be solved by uninstalling the the sound device.

Carry out a virus scan to ensure that your system is not infected.

Format your system is necessary.

Then re install the sound device.

It should definitely work.
