Hello,
I am having a problem after reinstalling windows. My CD ROM Device is not installed. I get a message error the asms file is missing. It gives me the location but without a mouse I can't say ok. To use the keyboard instead of a mouse I did the Shift, alt, number lock. I can navigate using the numeric keys . I can move around, but can't figure out how to get the ok box checked I can highlight it but when I hit enter it goes back to box where the missing file is located.
What was used before the mouse...anyone know how to use the keyboard as a mouse?

Dear Dottie,

I will hence advise you to use the CTRL and ALT key to move through the folders.

You will have to navigate through the start button by pressing the Window Key.

Select my computer and so forth.

Yet you could also look for it using Command Prompt.

Thanks.
