Can't find my secondary drives

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows why I can't find my dvd and cd drives? All I see are my A:, C: and E: back up drives. I don't see the restore drive or any others and am not sure why. I put in a new dvd player as I thought my other one went out but I don't think that's the case now. Any ideas? Thanks!

hi there,

change the data transfer cable
(80 pin)

then power up

check if the drive opens or not
