Hard disk noisy

Hello,

so the problem is that the last time i switched on my computer the hard disk was making a scratching sound and my pc would not go further up to the bios and then it freezes. im not sure if its the hard disk which is noisy i am assuming.

is it my bios which is the problem or the hard disk itself ?

i think that it is the fan that is doing this so check it out and if so please change i,,,good luck dear;-)
