Computer won't start

Hello,
My wife's Dell 1525 won't start when ac is plugged in, will start without ac plugged in and still works and seems to charge battery after you start then plug back in.

Dear Dave,

Please let the battery charge for an enough long time and see whether it boots up. If it

doesn't work, there might be a hardware problem either in the battery or the power

supply unit. You will have to send the laptop for repair then.
