Ipod not working.

Hello,
I went to plus my ipod in. I have the nano 4th generation. And it wont charge.. while it is plugged in the apple in the middle of the screen blinks, but it wont charge. I'll have it for a year in december.. what do i do?!

Hi,
I suggest you try putting it on hold,then off again,then holding the middle button and play button until the apple logo shows.For a more detailed explanation follow this link to the apple site.

Follow the steps there and hopefully it will solve your problem

Hello,

My iPod turns on fine. My songs appear fine on it. But as soon as I click on play button, it starts acting weird. It does not play songs. When I try to forward the songs, it just resets itself.

I have tried everything possible but nothing seems to work. My iTunes does not detect my iPod. So, I cannot even reset it. And when I reset it manually, nothing happens. It just stays the same as before.

Please help!

I own an Apple 80 GB iPod video and recently got 2 new labtops, so I got rid of my old desktop computer. one of them is a vista, one is an xp. I made sure all of the updates/driver updates were installed then downloaded and installed the latest version of iTunes 8. when I tried to plug my ipod into my computer (i tried on both computers) it will pop up a ballon saying this usb device cannot be reconized and will not show up in windows or itunes and does not charge. in device manager it will come up as usb mass storage device and say that no drivers are installed for this device. this problem is not with my computer or the cord because I have borrowed a friends ipod a...

Hello,
one day when my ipod ran out of battery and I connected it to my computer but it didn't show up and it still charged so I connected it to my macbook and it showed up. The next day I spent $50 worth of songs on my computer but my ipod doesn't connect so I can't add them on and i'm afraid that if I uninstall itunes then that money will go to waste what can I do??

Hello,

I have an iPod, 30Gb that seems to work - does everything but no sound. When I play a song, the screen indicates that it is playing, but no sound. No sound through the earphone jack, no sound through the usb. Tried resetting it (hold menu and center buttons down) but no good.
