Keyboard Issue - Disregard prev.wrong email

UPDATED EMAIL ADDRESS - I have a Gateway Laptop and I am finding that I'm not getting the regular keys on the keyboard. Above the u key there is a 6, now everytime I hit the u, I get a 6. I'm sure I must have turned something on, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to turn it off. There are several letter keys that have numbers above them, and they are all turned on as well. Makes typing difficult.....

You have turned on the NumLock feature that simulates a numeric keypad on laptops. You need to search the top row of the keyboard for NumLck. You then press NumLck + Fn (Function key at the bottom left) at the same time. That should toggle OFF the NumLock feature.
