windows 7 internet problem code 28 Closed

Hello,
after installing windows 7 on my dell laptop inspiron b120 i tried to connect to the internet and recieved code 28 drivers missing. im through time warner cable road runner and have the drivers installation disk and everytime i try to install them i get an error. i cant connect to the internet to get a automatic windows update. any ideas on what i should do? im on an old laptop i have that is really slow, how can i fix the dell so i can get to the internet?

you must install the driver for it

that is correct driver for the type of operating system in use

currently drivers for windows 7 compatible for your laptop is not

available even from dell official website
