Hello,

So my problem started weeks ago suddenly while working on the internet, it just turned off. Turned off without shutting down. That was the first time. Since then it would crash every time I open it. Now, after some adjustments, the problem is some how controlled, as it turns off only when I play certain games (some of which were working properly). That is after I ran a registry scan.

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 1525, I googled the problem and found a lot of inspiron 1525 with the same problem. Suggested by Dell that I would run a system diagnostic, so I did and there was Msg: 2000 - 1402 hard drive 1 error.

Now, I am stuck with the problem, don't know if I should change my hard drive, or what?

Ps: At the same time, I noticed my computer is a bit overheated these day, so is it the fan?

Thanks is advance :)

I am sorry, but I may have not made my self a bit clearer.. 1402 is not a microsoft error, it is the error I got from Dell's system diagnostic. ( clicking on F12 on the dell logo startup).

I already know the error, which is in Hard disk, I just don't know what to do about it?

Thanks for the reply though :) :)
