Ipod wont turn back on

Hello,hi my ipod nano 3rd generation wont turn back on see what happen was that i tried to fix it by pressing the menu and the middle button but it wouldnt work so i figured it was just dead i pluggeg it up tp the usb cord and it started to get the apple sign on it but when it finished charging it was on the langages screen then it was just frozen there a feww mintunes later arter i treid th menu a nd middle button again it just went black and stayed that way what do i do? :((
