Win7 repartion the HDD

Hello,
i bought a new hp pavilion dv6, with hdd 320 giga, it cames with one partion and i want to make two partions C,D
how could i do it with out losing my data or nothing happend to OS

Win7 repartion the HDD

hi there,

its simple

right click in my computer>

manage>

disk management>

then right click on c: drive and press on shrink

select your size

a raw partition will be created

then right click on the raw file and select suze and create partition and same fir other partitions

thanks very much it realy helps me to repartition my c drive but it's still to big in space although i used the maximum available space i need to take more space from c drive but how ?
i think u will help me
