Can I use a wrt54g on my new windows 7

Hello,
I have a new 7 pc. I am trying install my linksys wrt54g to it, but I cannot get pass the setup stage.
It tells me that it is not compatible to my computer. I have disabled the IPv6 and I have flushed the DNS Resolved Cache, but still I get the same message. What can I do? Do I have to purchase another router?

I have same problem , my linksys work fine but the setup cd won't work always says that it is not compatible with the windows version that I m using ( windows 7) , I don't know what to do , now I can't setup the security code for my router or play my ps3 online cause its always asking for the code to connect, any help please
