Laptop Problem! plz help

Hello,

I have a problem with my EEE pc laptop. When i turn it on, the desktop wallpaper is the only thing that shows. no taskbar, no icons. i tried right-clicking and nothing shows up. I tried Alt+Ctrl+Delete and nothing happens. PLEASE HELP!
