No audio output

Hello,

I have removed the Realtek Audio driver from the Add/Remove section.
When I tried to load the programme again it is not getting loaded.
It shows No active Mixer device is available.
Audio Bus not configured correctly.
Reinstall driver.
When I tried to install the driver using the motherboard CD, it is not getting installed.
MS Window XP Mother board : P5GC-MX/S

Please help.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I downloaded the audio driver from realtek and it is not getting installed. (0 % it runs and then gives the message. "Installation failed"
My computer is also having a high definition Audio Driver Package KB888111. Is this interfering with the other one?
But this was working with that before I removed the realtek driver.
Please help.
