Hi!

So I gave my dad a WD My passport for Christmas and now we have some issues,
someone please help.

The issue is:
My mum, sister and I all have Macs, but my dad has a computer with windows XP. He first used his "My passport" on his XP system, and tried to use it afterwards on my mum's mac. It didn't work, ofc, so I wanted to help out and converted it to mac os journal something. NOW I can't use it on the his computer because of the XP. So what do I do? I want to use it on both "computers"...

In advance, thanks a lot!

Ann

You can format the drive using FAT32 and both your Macs and Windows PC can use it. There is a program you can buy (Macdrive) that will allow the PC to read the Mac formatted drive if you would rather not reformat it. you can read about it here:

Good Luck
