Anti virus software

Hello,

Does anyone noe what is the best option for me when my antivirus software has detected a virus. should i delete or quarantine? I f i know i absolutley do not need the file can i delete it and will it find its way back to my computer. does placing the virus under quarentine control the virus or will it someohow make its way back into my hard drive if the file is needed by the computer. Thanks!!!

You have the option to put it in quarantine when you are not sure if it is really an infected file. Some times your anti-virus will give false indications of a virus or trojan file. Quarantine should work just file.
