Cannot get internet driver on laptop

Hello,
Have a dell laptop had to reformat due to a virus now says it cannot connect to the internet driver missing . How do i put a driver on if it won't connect to the internet . Can i download to a disk from a different computer

what is the model of the laptop and operating system.
should say on the bottom of the laptop
