again actually . have Sony Vaio Laptop NS series Recently it fel down and OS is not responding .. so as i had Portable Hard disk from Seagate 500 GB i thgt to install the OS Windows 7 directly using the Portable HDD instead the Internal Hard disk wic is damaged . i tried to Boot the Portable harddisk with Windows 7 CD but at one stage its said IEEE 1394 USB not supported...

i have googled about it found some converter
