How to use regedit

Hello, i had tried registering a software . i've been told i can use the "registry files" to solve.
pls direct me how to do that.

registry files should only be used by an advanced user.
modifying these may result in your windows to become none-bootable.

to edit registry go to start > run type regedit and press enter.

NOTE: MODIFY AT OWN RISK
ENSURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP FIRST (File > export)
