How do you change the windows xp log in backg

Hi could anyone tell me how to change my in background to something else but windows icons or logos
and where i could get a intel p4 3.0 Ghz for my pc . Thank's to any who could help me

Dear Sir,

Please right click on your desktop and get to the Properties and in the Desktop tab, get the possibility to change the background to another existing one.
