My ipod wont show videos

Hello,
i just downloaded some videos onto my 30gb ipod but it wont show the video. it plays the sound but the screen doesn't show the picture. HELP!! WHAT DO I DO???

Please consider checking whether the files that you have copied to the iPod is in the right compatible format.
