No Audio Device

Hello,
every time i'll open my media window player this is what it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." and i dom't have a recovery manager. what will i do...

hello,

all you have to do is to reinstall your sound device driver and if you cant find the driver for your machine just tell me what make and model is it and i will try to provide you a link where you will be able to download the driver for free

I Also have the same problem with my hp compaq desk top computer-Windows xp , No sound Device.
