Lost sound on my computer

Hello,
i have problem on my lap top ,i put new windows7 on my laptop and i had before windows xp
so in my sound i got icon x and it wont alow me to hire and it said no audio output devise install?
can any one help me plz

Dear Muss,

The fact that you a new operating system implies that you need to get the sound driver updated. It is no more compatible. Please get to the Device Manager and right click on the audio driver and select Update Driver.
