laptop turns on then nothing! Closed

Hello,
i have an Advent 7109 laptop and have had it for about fours - it has never been dropped or accidently damaged. I went to turn it on and it started to load then stopped! the screen is still lit but there is no power in the keyboard so i'm not sure what is wrong!! can anyone help??

Hi there,

Please check you power cord as well as adapter,test if current is flowing by the help of a multimeter and revert back for more help.
