SOS!! i cant get in to windows!!

Hello, acer notebook travelmate 3210 wont start
I have notebook that can not start normally. It keeps getting suck at the selection page, where it says safe mode or normal mode. But even after i pick safe or normal it doesnt get all the way to windows. it runs to the part where xp is loading and jumps back to the part where is says safe mode and normal mode.
there is a kinda sound click click.... when its laoding XP...
I was wondering if its the hard drive... or something else...

Hello Fred,

Normally upon booting the CD drive should be read, try inserting your Win XP disk and see if you can pick repair.

P.S. The click click sound is probably the machine trying to read the other drives.
