External Hard Drive Not Visible in My Compute
Closed
Hello,
I have a 250 gig Western Digital External Drive that apparently got initialized by accident on a Mac...when I hook it up via USB to my Windows XP machine, the computer acknowledges that it is installed, but it does NOT show up on My Computer...in device manager it is there, but I cannot access it to reformat and use it with my system...before it accidentally met the Mac, it was installed on the Windows system and working...I am using Windows XP home edition with the service pak...suggestions????

What is your windows system used FAT32, NTFS, LUNX
IF your windows system used FAT32 you must changed NTFS.
