Toshiba 1tb is not recognized on any computer

Hello,

I have a 1TB Toshiba hard drive which can no more be identified on my laptop and any other computer all of a sudden.
When i connect the USB cable, the blue light on the drive stays on for sometime then goes back off and still the drive cant be identified. Someone please help me i hope the drive isn't dead.

Hi

Have you checked the cable? Is the drive spinning ?

Yh, i've checked the cable and the drive spins with a constant clicking sound with about 2 secs apart

Since it's not recognized by any computer, you should take your drive for repair.

Hello,

This is Rathish from India. I bought both my laptop and my external drive in UK. I am using Windows 7 Home. I bought that hard drive after 18 months. when I plugged in my HDD it's not showing up d icon of the HDD. This one happens after connecting into my cousin's computer. Actually, Toshiba HDD's will turn into white color from Blue when it's plugged into a computer, but in my case, it still glows in Blue, so I don't know what is the exact problem of it. Can anyone help me to get rid of this one?

my thoshiba external 1 tb hard disk drive just going in loading, when I open my computer it going in not responding mode. right click doesnt show anything. no data shown for this drive

Hello,
i have a 250GB toshiba external harddrive, and it was working perfectly about a month ago
then i went for military training for a month and now it dosnt work on my computer i tryed it on another comp and it works fine, i havent done anything to my comp it just sat in storage, the drive just makes a ticking noise like a clock no matter what usb port i put it in, and one have any clues cause i desperatly need to get on in to it

Acer blue light on but black screen

Hello,

I just moved back to Vail from TX. While listening to to spa music on my Acer, the computer just went black screen on me. I never removed the charger so the light is blue but I don't see or hear anything from my Acer.

Please help!

please can sme1 tell me wat to do? My laptop isnt detecting any hard disk drive. i've tried purchasing 3 new hdd but to no avail. some 1 told me it might be the rom bios but am not sure.
