Setting wallpaper or background on my laptop

Hello,

I am trying to get a wallpaper on my screen of my laptop. I get it just the way I want it but when I turn off the computer I get a black screen again. How can I make this stay on?

cright click on your desktop, choose properties, then click desktop on the top.then browse on your chosen wallpaper. hope it helps
