Upgrading of Movie Maker V2.6

Hello,

I am presently using the WMM Version 2.1 and my OS is WindowsXP professional (SP2).

I came to know that WMM new version (i.e. V2.6) only works on Vista and not on XP as mentioned.I shall be very much thankful if you could answer my following questions,

1. Is this true? Can I use it on my OS without any problem?
2. If so, how to install it ? Can I just run the new "exe" file without uninstalling the present one?
3. Is there a way to upgrade my present version through the Internet into the new version?
