LAPTOP SHUT DOWN AUTOMATICALLY WHILE PLAYING

I HAVE A LAPTOP WITH WINDOW XP, 2 GB RAM AND CORE 2 DUE PROCESS, WHENEVER I PLAY VIDEO GAMES ON MY LAPTOP IT SHUT-DOWN AUTOMATICALLY. BUT WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAM IT WORKS PERFECTLY.
