Hello, yesterday i realised that my USB has only 950MB instead of 8GB , eventhough there is only few files (less that 1GB) inside there. So without further thinking, i opened Disk Utility on Macbook and erased / reformatted my thumbdrive. It can still be detected on my macbook after that..

However today, when i tried using it on a WINDOWS computer, theres a pop up message saying, my thumbdrive isnt formatted. And i cannot open it. Why? :-s

Is it because when i reformat my thumbdrive on my macbook, it automatically delete together this one folder ( i cant forget what the name, but im sure its containing the DRIVER or something?), that makes it no longer detectable when using with other computer?

What should i do? HELP1

I have the same problem with my MacBook Pro 13". Seems like the Kingston USB memories without the metal stuff on the connector fits badly with the MacBook's USB-port. For me it works if I don't push it all the way in and if I push it a little away from me.
