I took my laptop apart to clean out the fan since it kept over heating and I put it back together exactly how it was (or so I thought) now the laptop turns on and no loud whirring sound the power light comes on but the keyboard doesn't work and the screen stays totally black. It never comes on, I don't know about sound since I just turn it off. But it does power on I hear it and see the little blue light but nothing else. I don't get a blank screen it never comes on. Any idea what went wrong or how I can fix it??

HI there,

For the blank screen its due to the lcd cable is being pressed under screws or something else its about 4-4.5 mm thick and grey/gold coated, open it again and check if all are well set as it was fist time it was opened. For the keyboard make sure the rib is still good else you will have to change. While opening a laptop make it it a safe place and no one moving around so as not to loose screws and other parts.

Thanks
