I don't get an pop up when receive message

Hi guys, i like to ask a question about my new corby.
its a nice handy phone.
but 1 thing i noticed is , my friend got one too
and when he gets a message, its pops up on the home page .
and when i get a message it don't.. does pop up.
How come?

Hi there,

Get in phone and message settings to have it also on your handset,also check version of your friend and your if same you will get it.
