Net connection

Hello,

One day, out of the blue, my router's WAN connection went down. I went through troubleshooting and turned it off and back on, yada yada yada. I followed the ethernet (or whatever its called) cable back the the phone jack on the wall where it plugs in and unplugged it. When I did that, I noticed a clear, sticky, almost booger like substance and I thought it might be some type of glue. However, this substance had found it's way into the connection and something told me that it doesnt belong there. Idk if something leaked through the wall or what it is but, I just would like to see if this has happened to anyone else. I've been with my internet provider for over a year an...

Hello, so my problem is that my firewall seems to be blocking my internet connnection, I have the follwing message :

Security or firewall settings might be blocking the connection.

Your Internet access is blocked.

I have a perfectly fine internet connection and when I diagnose my connection problems it tells me I have a good internet connection but mentions that my firewall settings might be blocking the connection. I have spend hours stressfully trying to find out the problem but I just can't seem to find the solution would somebody a bit more experienced with computers be able to provide me with some help please it would be greatly appreciated,

I can't go to my Linksys E1200 router using 192.168.1.1. I keep my router/plug it off for 20 second before restarting it. After restarting, I can access my router using 192.168.1.1. Again, an hour, it stops working.

I have had issues for about two weeks trying to get my works website to load on my laptop. The server message says " err connection time out"

I've tried doing all the obvious and even using different connections. It works when I'm using the laptop at the office and at a friend's but not at my place. Please can anyone help I have to work from home.

I'm having problems with my wireless connection, the internet works for all our other computers in my shop, but mine!! It dies out every couple of pages or so and says that my connection has timed out with the following error messages : Connection timed out Connection either timed out or was lost Connection timeout TCP Connection error timed out Connection request timed out Connection attempt timed out Connection server timed out Connection has been reset, closed by server
