Modify file or folder creation date

Hello,

i want to change the original file creation and modification date to new. how to change folder or file creation date. plz help me

Right click the file or folder to change, then choose Change Attributes from the menu. It's a shell extension, not a stand-alone program.

Manually change the date on the computer and then copy the files. The new files should have your preferred date.

well, I just did it. changed the date on the pc, opened the file, saved with a different name, closed the file, restored the date and it says "created" and "changed" the date I temporarily set on the pc, and "last open" the current date

Change date to what you want
Open the file
use SAVE AS !

voila

You do want to change the date back
