Vaio SZ3: battery not charging

orange LED frequently flashing and no charging of the battery, neither power up until battery is removed. tried to unplug CMOS battery for few minuted, did not help :(

Hi there,

Test with a new battery taking your laptop to a computer shop and if good then change the battery.

Thanks for suggestion, this is already tried: in fact I have 2 batteries and one is new and charged, notebook boots with this battery but when attaching the adapter it does not charge. In addition, OS reports crap in the data about the battery, line voltage being 65V etc.
