My sony laptop wont turn on... plsss help...

Hello,

hi i havesony laptop 3 years old, and recently its started getting really hot and slow and then turns off unexpectedly. i was using it watching films on internet when suddenly it turns off and i can't turn it on anymore. advice pls.. dnt know what to do with it anymore.
thinking of bringing it to tech but afraid it would costs more or maybe almost the same of a new laptop.

Maybe the battery is dead. Did you try removing the battery and turning it on with the AC plugged in?
