Local only - no internet please help

Hello,

When trying to connect wirelessly to the internet through my Netgear router (Comcast);
Password protected I can only connect Locally, not internet.
When it is not protected I can connect fine.
I can connect fine using a wire.
But I can't if it's password protected!!!

Can someone help me connect wirelessly to a protected network?

hi
try getting a chip a wirless chip buy it at future shop or some electronic store
it costs $30 it is really helpfful
