I recently googled the movie memento and i clicked on some sites. Couple pop ups which i exited all.. i went to the washroom and came back seeing a lil box that said "system security confirguration" option 1- INSTALL option 2- remind me later.. i clicked remind me later.. THEN the computer froze!!!! :(:(

I have Windows XP professional... service pk2.

1) Safe mode doesn't work.. it just goes to a black screen couple numbers words // but doesn't load...

2)Last known working config doesn't work

3) My windows is already set to boot xp cd when the cd is inside. but the cd doesn't boot... it just says "searching for boot record..." then goes black

i can't get into windows xp nor boot the cd PLEASE HELP!

is there a way to get past this so i can reformat or system restore my computer?

Hi there,

When system loads ,wait for the message 'press any key to boot from cd' then press any key on keyboard and let the process continue, for that in bios settings select boot device cd drive and make it on priority.

Thanks
