Connecting PS3 to Wireless laptop
Closed
Hello,
I'd like to connect to the playstation network using my wireless laptop and an ethernet cable. My brother had it working before but I have no idea how to do it myself. I am using a windows 7 laptop and running the ethernet cable from the ps3 to it in hopes that I can connect to the playstation network using the wireless network from my home modem. The problem I am getting is that it cannot pull an IP address from the laptop and the network and sharing center says the local area connection to the PS3 is not working. I have run diagnostics but so far all I've managed to do was disconnect my laptop from the internet and have to re-fix it again. I'm not sure how I can do this, can anyone help?
