The internet won't work on my programs

Hello,

the internet stopped working on my programs, like for example the itunes store doesn't work, my torrentu won't work because it can't access the internet and every kind of program on my computer that accesses the internet no longer can. Does anyone know how to turn on the internet for these programs?
